It is primarily an intracellular mineral and is required for the activity of several hundred enzyme systems of the human body. Zinc Amino Acid Chelate is an easily absorbed form of zinc, suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Signs of low Zinc include white spots on the nails, poor resistance to infection, slow wound healing, dull senses (hearing sight, smell, taste).
