CORDYCEPS POWDERED EXTRACT (VEGAN) + ATHLETES + ENERGY + The medicinal mushroom for athletes (including mums!). Used for building core energy, stamina, endurance and improving recovery time. Cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis) is used as a life-enhancing herb in the Taoist herbal system. The primary action of cordyceps is on the kidneys, enhancing the function and capabilities so that greater power and stamina can be maintained throughout the physical structure of the body. The Jing energy of the kidneys is considered our primordial energy, the seat of our longevity and genetic potential, and cordyceps has been used for thousands of years to enhance Jing, especially by athletes. Cordyceps is also a lung tonic and has been used traditionally to increase blood oxygen absorption. This function allows for greater cellular performance, stamina and recovery time. Along with athletes, cordyceps is traditionally used post-partum by mothers recovering from labour and birth and by the elderly to rebuild their foundational energy and assist the physical body in staying strong into old age. Please note our cordyceps is a vegan, non-wild product. Wild cordyceps grows out of the head of an insect, and is prohibitively expensive. We choose to use cultivated cordyceps as opposed to wild cordyceps to save those poor little caterpillars their heads! INGREDIENTS: Cultivated Cordyceps sinesis CS-4 strain (vegan), 10:1 powder extract. Not irradiated. No added grains, fillers, starch, or mycelium (grown on liquid). GLUTEN FREE DAIRY FREE SUGAR FREE VEGAN PALEOSERVING SUGGESTIONS: Start by adding 1/2 tsp (approx. 3g) to hot water to make an instant tea (sweeten if desired), or add to smoothies, juices, elixirs, hot chocolates or your favourite recipe for a healthy boost. Serving size may be increased to up to 2 Tbs per day; recommended daily serve is 1 tsp. We’ve extracted this product with care so it is at maximum bioavailability and ready to be taken as is. The extract is NOT heat sensitive and can be added to hot drinks and dishes.STORAGE: Your herbs are packed in Miron violet glass to protect them from damaging UV rays, and include a silica-based desiccant to absorb moisture (the enemy of your herbs!). Keep your herbs dry and tightly sealed and they’ll thank you! The herbs are packed by weight not volume and some settling may occur. Please reuse your Miron jars!!
